Korkoj is a musical project created in 2009. Its members come from very different musical worlds: progressive rock, metal and jazz. The friction between these different styles produces a tone that is at times strange and disjointed.His music is neither elitist nor obscure, and seeks to build bridges between different worlds, different cultures and different listeners. The coherence of these musical slices should enable everyone to hold on to a comfortable inner world, while leading them to question their relationship with rhythm, style or melody.The album "XI", with its resolutely jazz tone, revels in the vigor of rock throughout its production, and blends the softness of the piano with soaring bass/drums rhythms.
