Kellerkommando
Hobb Edzz
Resistance is futile: Lace your dancing shoes and oil your throats - KELLERKOMMANDO is back with a new album after six years. On "Hobb Edzz" pumping beats and modern synth sounds meet fat brass and accordion. A delightful concoction of brass, electro and Franconian folk. Appears on BEST! ENTERTAINMENT. Soon after the band was founded in 2011, KELLERKOMMANDO won the Creole music competition, first at state level and then at national level. The concept that convinced the jury at the time is still behind the songs today: You rummage through your great-great-grandparents music box and find irresistibly sexy catchy tunes with funny, bizarre or sometimes lovingly rough lyrics - all things that young people think of well have been interested for 120 years. Inspired by this, the bridge to the here and now is then built both lyrically and musically. Rap meets popular choruses, brass and accordion meets fat beats and synth basses, in short yesterday meets today to generate the pop music of tomorrow
