He felt a little shy about announcing "Peter Kater - For Christmas" at the concert because he really didn't know if many people would be interested in hearing him play traditional Holiday songs. But to his complete and joyful surprise he sold every one of those 500 cassettes that night and a few days later received an offer from a record label to license the album and press it on vinyl, cassette and CDs. The album quickly became a Holiday Best-Seller. But as cassette, vinyl and even CD sales were gradually replaced with streaming, the album fell out of print. Over the last few years the record has increased in downloads and streams and last December alone, the track "Let There Be Peace On Earth", received millions of streams. To celebrate, Peter decided to remaster the album to refresh and bring all its sonic beauty forward and release it once again on CD and Vinyl. The album has never sounded better and Peter is excited to offer it for sale once again.
