"Polarités", Joséphine's second EP, reveals an artist seeking balance amid paradoxical emotions. Comprising six songs in French, the album offers a poetic dive into the opposing forces that drive us as humans: love and loss, joy and sadness, courage and fear. The lyrics, mysterious and sometimes mystical, are enhanced by arrangements inspired by pop and computer music, drawing influence from artists like Billie Eilish and Oklou as well as Camille and Emilie Simon. This musical journey invites us to gently embrace the highs and lows we all experience. It provides an antidote to fully accept the gold and the mud within us, as two sides of the same coin.
