JELKA - the new solo project of DUST COVERED CARPET frontman Volker Buchgraber. With his new bedroom project, he creates great pop moments with a bittersweet taste of melancholy. Volker already proved his talent for highly emotional song writing on four albums with his former band Dust Covered Carpet. JELKA carries on with the musical framework known from his previous project. The lyrics paint an image of Volker's emotional cosmos. This emotionally, yet radically arranged album "Hold Sand" sleepwalks confidently in the footsteps of Xiu Xiu, Perfume Genius or Sparklehorse. The album will be limited to 100 copies.
