Biguine Reflections

For those who love beguine and Alain Jean-Marie's piano playing, here is the re-release of the `Biguine Reflections' trio's debut album cut in March 1992. Alain Jean-Marie interprets the great `wabap' classics, the new form of beguine invented in the early fifties by Al Lirvat and Robert Mavounzy, following the lines of bebop. This avant-garde touch is brought back to life with Alain's piano acting as an entire band, though the essence of the original compositions still remains.
