Dark Wanderer And The Bounty Heart
"Dark Wanderer and the Bounty Heart" is a song cycle and the second full length studio album from Nathan Jacques. Boisterous western rock anthems reach across the horizon to warm, heartfelt love songs leaving everything in between to form a rich and alluring journey along a new western, genre-bending path. The record acts as the "soundtrack" to a fictional mid-1900s singing cowboy film featuring B-list star Nathan Jacques akin to Gene Autry and Roy Rogers but without the acting prowess, warm reception or critical acclaim. 20 tracks, double vinyl, gatefold sleeve. The album was produced by Ed Donnelly (Willie Nelson, Zac Brown, Del McCoury), mixed by Jordan Koop (Orville Peck) and Brandon Towles (Dierks Bentley, Parker McCollum), mastered by Pete Lyman (Brandi Carlisle, Sturgill Simpson) and the master lacquers for vinyl were cut by Nick Townsend (Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires).
