Itibere Orquestra Familia Da FranÇa
Live A Paris
Multi-instrumentalist, prolific composer and conductor, Itiberê Zwarg is one of the most brilliant minds in Brazilian music. Known as Hermeto Pascoal's accomplice since 1977, Itiberê came to Paris in January 2022, with his musician children Mariana and Ajurina, to conduct 19 talented musicians. After rehearsals, the orchestra gave two concerts, some of the highlights of which are listed below. Conceived and designed on both sides of the Atlantic by Itiberê Zwarg and Benoît Crauste, the Orquestra Familia da França was born in the wake of the pandemic. It is the realisation of a dream of sharing and strong cultural exchanges around innovative music. The musica universal claims a free and natural approach to its expression, playing with the boundaries between learned and popular styles to stimulate creativity. It defies codes and overturns habits with a disconcerting freshness. It is a reflection of the prodigal Brazil that gave birth to it, a land of invention with lush poetry and a great melting pot of the 660.<br />The orchestra's repertoire is freely inspired by the 660 of French music, and reflects the impressions he has gained on his many tours with Hermeto Pascoal & Grupo. La fête des Gaulois, Annecy, Grenoble (...) are just some of the musical images that sparkle with his Brazilian vision of our country.
