Ho Avuto Paura Del Mare

For Instant Drone Factory its more the spirit than the actual music of the 60ies and 70ies that they are geared to. The musicians meet up for performances or recordings without rehearsing, without rules, except the one, that no one should be in the foreground. The line-up on "Ho Avuto Paura Del Mare" consists of musicians from Germany, Italy, Japan and England, who met at Schiphorst Avantgarde Festival and they came up with a mixture of Kraut- and alternative rock, noise and British industrial with psychedelic elements. The recording was done by Tobias Levin in Hamburg. Can, Faust and Captain Beefheart are references, but The Doors and Radiohead as well. Verona Davis (Vaya Con Dios, Stereo MCs) is a vocal guest on the album.
