Strange, dirty stories about misfortune. Without thinking twice, Fushigi reached for the album whose colourful cover stuck out from the wall of magazines, books and records. In addition to the Japanese characters, she could also make out the German words cough and "Aus allen Nhten" on the cover. Fushigi paid and set about exploring the songs gathered on vinyl at home. Although she understood only fragments of the foreign language, she dreamt in the night of the near-death experience described in one song, of the man illusioning himself into fatherhood in another, woke up at a quarter to three because she was sure that - as on the record - a nurse would call at that hour. Later, in her sleep, she saw the yellow house of the disembarked and relived the tragic life-love story of an anonymous couple depicted in scenic miniatures. Still in her morning half-sleep, she heard the Swiss singer Sophie Hunger reverberating next to the German singer. Immediately after breakfast, Fushigi researched and found out that "Aus allen Nhten" was the first cough album after four EPs. Why it was an unfortunate coincidence in this band's history, so rich in coincidences and happy misfortunes, that its members Moses Schneider, Gisbert zu Knyphausen and the Thin Man had decided in 2019 to announce their tour 500 days in advance and the pandemic turned it into over 1,200 days between notification and concert start.
