Peste is the Italian hardcore bands third full-length and their heaviest and most brutal offering yet, following up to Great Mother: Holy Monster and setting a new bar for the modern wave of death metal-influenced hardcore. The new album is "...fast and definitely intense. We went even heavier and extreme on this new full-length and we cant wait to track it," commented Ben Tellarini, HIEROPHANT drummer. HIEROPHANT have been making waves since their formation back in 2010. Theyve toured with the likes of DEAFHEAVEN, OATHBREAKER, TOMBS, PELICAN, CANCER BATS and many more, and have a reputation for an intense and relentless live show. The band released their B9 debut Great Mother: Holy Monster in March of 2013, which was called "...a searing brand of no-holds-barred dark hardcore thats characterized by bleak, unrelenting guitars and harsh, incomprehensible vocals" by Big Cheese Magazine.
