Hiawata! Released their first mini-album "they couldve been bigger than hiawata!" in Norway in the spring of 2007. Since then the CD has been released throughout Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, France and the BeNeLux-countries. The album contains a heap of indie hits and anthems that bring tears of joy to the eyes of indie kids all over the globe from the US to Brazil to Japan via Europe. They also gained a lot of fans when they played at the ya festival in Oslo last summer; a career highlight so far. Hiawata! is often compared to bands like Lemonheads, Belle & Sebastian, Television Personalities and other such greats. Blacks on Blondes is a five-track EP produced by Kenneth Ishak (Beezewax). Kenneth has brought the band closer to their heroes in Dinosaur Jr. and the Lemonheads, but not without letting go of their fetish for the Smiths and other UK acts.
