Harding, Dave
You Came Through
While in the midst of a tour with his band, Richmond Fontaine, Dave Harding got the inspiration to record his second album. So he contacted many of the same people who he had worked with on his first record, Across The Road: producer Mike Coykendall, members of Richmond Fontaine, guitarist Scott Hampton and vocalist Michael Jodell. What they created were 10 songs that mix folk, bluegrass and heartland rock with upbeat optimism and Hardings dry observations of life passing by his window at 70 mph. Highlights include the hook-laden Shellys Song, the gospel-tinged Shores of Cornwall, as well as two duets with Jodell. You Came Through finds Harding hitting his stride as a gifted songwriter.
