Guerrero, Diego
Por La Tangente
Diego Guerrero (Huelva) is an atypical creator capable of tackling different genres on a committed and honest way. In the essence of his language we find a trace deeply rooted flamenco in his Andalusian land. During childhood and adolescence, along with Nino Miguel, he learned that an orchestra could well hide inside a guitar. Guerrero has proven to be one of the best ambassadors outside of Spain, transferring his language and idiosyncrasy to other styles, and creating bridges to receive elements from other musical gardens, without ever consenting missing authenticity and displaying an unusual ability to understand the very essence of each musical culture. This has made him quite a referent, not only among the new generations, but also among musicians and established artists.
