GMBH was founded in 1981 by Christian Schneiderbauer and Wesley Plass. While Christian stood for the vocals and the lyrics, Wesley was the musical head. Already at this time Wesley was after band stations at Oktagon, Rock Candy and especially TAX as one of the most talented guitarists in Germany and was an demand studio musician. The music of GMBH was based on the at that time very successful "New German Wave".
