With the 5 tracks of Rivière, the violinist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Mirabelle Gilis also becomes a singer and offering an escape, like a swim. A fugue full of movement, in which a dozen musicians took part, but orchestrated and composed by her alone.The lyrics (by Mirabelle Gilis, Christophe Miossec, Marcel Kanche), whose apparent bitterness dissipates with each listen, are expressed in hushed tones and combine memory and hope.This EP blends chamber music and electronic music, acoustic and electric instruments. Like a timeless call from the sea, it was created during creative residencies in Brest (France), Santa Maria di Leuca (Italy) and Saigon (Vietnam).
