"Deep inside my mouth is where dark treasures can be found / Would you like to find out?" The Viennese group GARDENS presents itself with a bird's eye view on their debut album and impresses with uncanny clarity, warmth and self-confidence, along with some darker tones. The quartet, consisting of Luca Celine Muller, Peter Benedikt Mathis, Patrick Stieger and Laura Keiblinger, rose to fame with their first two singles "Talk" and "Waves" - which were immediately hoisted into the annual charts by Radio FM4 - and established their lush mix of indie pop, 60s psych-folk and dream pop.
