old sckool Crossover thrash, Speed Metal, Thrash from California USA . Frightmare is a Bay Area Thrash Metal band originally founded in 1986 by vocalist Brian Miller (Burnt Offering). After a 30 year hiatus, the band was reformed in fall 2019 with the addition of John Spanos on bass and Will Eukel on drums. Guitarist Tom Dykes (Circus Of Fear) joined the fold the following summer, completing the lineup. Since then, we've recorded several short EP's blending a mix of old material from the 80's with new songs written collaboratively by the band. This CD contains the tracks from our last two EP's. Tracks 1-3: 'Arsenal', 'Into The Pitch Black Darkness' and 'Up In Smoke' were recorded in January 2025 at Subterranean Studio in Oakland, CA. Tracks 4-6: 'Snake Island', 'Headless Horseman' and 'Deadwood' were recorded in 2023 with Altman Studios. Also included are a pair of bonus live tracks from our September 28th, 2024 show at The Green Room Social Club in Placerville, CA. Recording courtesy of Chan Mainor.
