Nexus

Nexus is a portal, a connection between very distant musical universes in search of dialogue, fusion, a flow. FluDuo - Alice Muzzioli, displaying a classically trained vocal imprint and Marco Silvi on contemporary piano - have been experimenting and exploring together for years, combining the precision of sheet music with the flexibility of improvisation, the purity of classical vocalization with the textured sounds of prepared piano. "Nexus" is the first recording project of FluDuo, the result of their personal union between ancient and modern eras; a portal between distant microcosms connected by the same search for sound malleability and metamorphosis.
