Felsenreich
Motiv Und Tempo
On their 6th studio album "Motiv und Tempo" ("Motif and Tempo"), Felsenreich once again adds a new musical facet to their body of work while still remaining true to themselves. After the opulent albums of the early years, the band (Sohn, Schaller, Wesely) this time opts for straightforward song structures that are reminiscent, in part, of post-punk or wave. Even so, they once again focus on the distinctive, memorable melodies typical of Felsenreich, carried by expansive guitars, floating keyboards, and cool vocals. As guests and reinforcement, they brought in musicians from the wave legend "Escape With Romeo" at the "Highline Studio" in Munich, whose drummer Frenzy Erl once again appeared as producer. Felsenreich weaves these melodies together with a recurring theme: looking back at the past, and the insight and strength that arise from it to make the present bearable despite all hardship encouragement! This is exactly the motif with which Felsenreich will accompany us through the tempo of our times
