Fee

Rezeptfrei

For German Punk/Wave rock band FEE the success of their debut album "Notaufnahme" meant a life on the streets, the band toured the whole of Germany. In between, they made it to the studio to record the second album "Rezeptfrei", which was released in 1982 and contained another veritable hit in the scene with "Schweine im Weltall" ("pigs in space"). Martina Knorr came from punk and had meanwhile taken the place behind the microphone and had the usual FEE-typical vocal duels with co-singer Tom Ruhstorfer, a trademark of the Braunschweig class band. Ex-Rattle Frank Mille produced this album again and was also on board for the 1983 successor "Schizofeenie". No staff changes, but lots of catchy tunes, cheeky and free, anarchic and politically correct. "Doswidanja", "Neue Deutsche Kuche" ("New German Cuisine") and "Highnoon in the Justizpalast" are just three of the many pearls with which Fee was represented on the radio and on the stages. The band had undoubtedly matured into one of the best German live bands, experienced with lots of fun for musicians and audience!
