Feat, The

Schemes For Decades

New LP from Chicago band featuring members of Engines, Towers, Elder (PA), Pink Eyes, Stillwell, Sore History, Cheap Vacation, more! You might say that Chicago's THE FEAT have been plotting and planning their debut LP for years. Craig Woods (Towers, Peter and Craig), Justin Wexler (Stillwell, Engines), and Matt Vicars (Ghost Towns, Sore History) have created a sound that exists somewhere within their shared collective experience of independent and punk music. Existing somewhere in the venn diagram of mixed bill shows at the Fireside Bowl in the 90s, years of touring and playing basements across the country, and old well-concealed cash mailorders from Ebullition and No Idea, you'll find all of these influences have come together to create their debut LP, Schemes For Decades. The album was recorded at Bricktop Studios in 2024 by Pete Grossman, mixed by Andy Nelson, and mastered by Carl Saff. Schemes For Decades is a split release between Forge Again Records, Tor Johnson Records, Be Happy Records, Dipterid Records, Killer Tofu Records, and Triple Eye Industries, each of whom have their own color scheme for both the jacket and vinyl. The first press LP is limited to 250 copies with zine insert.
