Fakir Trio

Le Temps De L'orage

Fakir brings together the musicians Marwan Fakir (violin), Louis Desseigne (guitars and saz) and Pierre-Antoine Despatures (double bass). Here, they bring the trance-like rhythms of the Maghreb to life through feverish grooves and intricate maqam patterns under the searing heat of a merciless guitar amplifier. This is dreamlike music that whispers of far-flung lands, infused through and through with a spirit of freedom and millennia-old traditions.
