Live Collision Tour
A collision of a wild, heavy post-rock and and an indescribable but awesome electronic music. Ez3kiel and Hint have met in residency and on stage in year 2008 at Riddim Collision # 10, the Jarring Effects festival; it was almost the first Hint gig since year 2000 while EZ3kiel was finishing the 100 gigs "Battlefield" tour. This night, a big audience composed of fans and curious has discovered this unique, heavy, noisy and melancholic universe build by both bands, just like if Nine Inch Nails would have flirted with Mogwaï. Sound was massive, between electronics and industrial noise with strong and cinematic melodies, carried on by torn and anguished voices. This performance was planned to be the only one but the 2 bands felts it so good that they decided to go on touring for 10 concerts the following year. It gives this wonderful digipack boxset (CD+DVD) that allows to immerse yourself into this show recorded at the Fil (Saint Etienne) and at the Chabada (Angers) in which the two bands play parts of their both discography. The opportunity to rediscover Hint and some of their symbolic titles as "100% White Puzzle" which open the show, the explosive "Eyes in Axis" or "Mr. Investigator". For Ez3kiel "Wagma", "The Wedding" or "Volfonis Revenge" are revisited by the blazing guitars of this fleeting super band. Also note, on the DVD are available 80 of bonus : encounter documentary film, vintage clips and unpublished Hint archives.
