Eugene, Paul -& Mighty Megatons-
Where Is That Love?
It took nine years until the right time and constellation opened up to record this song. Now UK reggae singer Eugene Paul (Pama Records) sings "Where Is That Love" recorded by the Mighty Megatons (Roy Ellis, Alpheus) on this limited edition DJ single from Liquidator. In 2014, the Spanish producers Tuco Salamanca and Rudy King (Tucxone Records, today Golden Hen Studio) made a recording of this riddim with the British singer Eugene Paul, who had released a few singles on Pama Records between 1970 and 1972. It was to be a while before this single came out and since then the music has been re-recorded by Madrid's Mighty Megatons. The bluebeat ska and rocksteady specialists, also known as the live band for Alpheus and Roy Ellis, present a beautiful soul reggay song with the British veteran. The B-side is refined by the Spaniards with the melancholic instrumental "Mexican Affair".
