ETIQUETTE MONA - OCH FÅR VI INTE DET SÅ KAN DET VA Etiquette Mona met in high school in 1977 in the sleepy Swedish town Motala. None of them could really play at first but the band rapidly merged influences of punk and new wave into their own frenetic brew and wrote their own material at a feverish speed, including the single "Amsterdam", voted as one of the 50 best Swedish pop-tunes ever. Despite raving reviews in the national music press Etiquette Mona failed to get any record company attention. After three years of existence they exploded and died. This compilation captures a band that was straight to the point and never lost their sense of a strong melody.
