Reissue of the album ,Mi Raza" from 2007. Urban Reggae meets Afro-Soul, Samba & Hip Hop. EMERSOUND, who was born as EMERSON DE ARAUJO in Brazil, founded his fi rst band 20 years ago. Since then, he has made himself a name in Brazil with his vivid and breezy interpretation of Samba and Urban Reggae and his very own personal style, that is infl uenced by Afro-Soul, Hip Hop and all his experiences. His album ,Mi Raza" became a national hit and some of the songs made it over the borders. Nowadays, EMERSOUND (who by this time lives in Berlin) is one of the most well known artists in Brazil and Chile and he has toured around the world, playing various festivals.
