The Ramones changed the rules of rock music and are now part of the world's subcultural heritage as the first wave of US punk. The Ramones have never been honored with an entire album in early reggae style. But for the band's 50th anniversary (2024), the label Echo Beach, which specializes in such missions, has embarked on precisely this journey. Together with André Meyer (production, bass) and Manougazou (production, guitar), they have given the eleven most irresistible Ramones three-minute hits, including 'Blitzkrieg Bop', 'I Wanna Be Sedated', 'Pet Sematary' and 'Rock'n'Roll Highschool', a reggae treatment.
