Dirty Sidewalks
It's Getting Better
Limited amount on white vinyl. Seattle-based indie shoegazers Dirty Sidewalks will be releasing both a debut 7" vinyl single and a full-length album in 2016. Dirty Sidewalks were formed in 2010 by singer/guitarist Erik Foster, his brother and lead guitarist Evan Foster (also founder of Surf Garage rockers The Boss Martians), and longtime friend and bassist Evan O'Neil. Dirty Sidewalks take sonic cues from the fuzzy haze of The Jesus and Mary Chain, the massive guitar-wall of early Oasis and the neo-psychedelic jangle of The Dandy Warhols. "If you like Jesus and Mary Chain and/or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, you're gonna dig this one. It's best listened to wearing sunglasses and a black leather jacket. Cigarette: optional." - PopShifter "Infectious, guitar-driven, jangling dreampop." - AXS "When something is advertised as "a very shoegaze Christmas," we're there." - Buzzbands LA "Somehow drab and festive at the same time." - MAGNET Magazine
