Born from a cross-continental collaboration between Austria and Québec (Canada), Black Metal trio DÉTRESSE have announced their second full-length album, "Misères", set for release on October 9, 2026, via Vendetta Records. Following the foundation laid by their 2025 debut "Pessimismes", "Misères" continues DÉTRESSE's uncompromising approach to Black Metal while pushing their sound further. The album deals with the misery of mankind and human hardship, exploring how oppression, deprivation, and despair shape everyday existence, blurring the boundaries between past and present. Shaped through raw, unadulterated soundscapes, "Misères" offers a journey into the darkest corners of humanity.
