Deleyaman

The Lover, The Stars & The Citadel

"The lover, The stars & The citadel" is the 7th album of Deleyaman. The album includes 11 tracks and features Brendan Perry of Dead Can Dance (greek bouzouki on "Escape" and percussion programming on "Autumn Sun"). It is another step forward in the band's discography following their 2014 album "The Edge". The lyrics of the songs tackle the themes of love, solitude and revolt. Deleyaman is a euro-american band with a body of work that reach beyond the boundaries of genres. Their sound is unique and enigmatic. Their influences range from post-punk, cold-wave, Anatolian music, ambient post-rock to Le groupe des six of Erik Satie. Another recent and important information about Deleyaman is that two of the band's songs from their 2003 album "Second" will be a part of the soundtrack of the film "Rouges sont les rêves" starring Gerard Depardieu and Emmanuelle Seigner, directed by the french nouvelle vague actress and director Fanny Ardant.
