Wide brand new studio single by the British guitar pop band (co-produced by JOHN PARISH) from Somerset on 7" vinyl single. Appears on SPINOUT NUGGET. 38 years after their formation in Yeovil, Somerset and 28 years after their last record release, THE CHESTERFIELDS return with their second single 'Mr. Wilson Goes To Norway, which was co-produced and mixed by JOHN PARISH (producer of their 1987 debut, Kettle). Founding member SIMON BARBER wrote this song as a sort of follow-up to the 1987 song "Oh Mr. Wilson!" The song "Year Of The Turn" can be heard on the B-side. Both songs also appear on the new album "New Modern Homes". The current line-up of The Chesterfields consists of SIMON on bass and vocals, ROB PARRY on drums, HELEN STICKLAND on guitar and vocals, and ANDY STRICKLAND (of THE LOFT and THE CARETAKER RACE) on guitar and vocals. The B-side "Girl In A Boat" is a live recording from the 2016 NYC Popfest that will not be included on the studio album to follow in September!
