Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino (CGS) presents Il Mito. Eleven tracks recounting fifty years of history of the oldest and most influential folk music group in southern Italy. Led by Mauro Durante (vocals, violin and tamburello) and accompanied by Giulio Bianco (clarinet, bass), Emanuele Licci (vocals, bouzouki, guitar), Massimiliano Morabito (accordion), Giancarlo Paglialunga (vocals, tamburello), Alessia Tondo (vocals, percussion), and Silvia Perrone (dance), the current line-up, responsible for the group's latest international successes, revisits some of the songs that have marked its artistic and human journey.
