Following their anniversary CD, The Bulgarian Voices Angelite (the original Voix Bulgares) are back with a new studio album. Heritage features popular pieces by the composers with whom this choir has always enjoyed working: founder Philip Koutev, Nikolai Kaufman, Petar Lyondev and Ivan Spassov. It is no coincidence that the album also includes two Orthodox Christian songs, as researchers have discovered that traditional singing has influenced ancient religious music. After 32 years, this choir has lost none of its power.
