Kingston Town (+dub Version)
Considered as one of the most important French reggae formations, Broussai went to Jamaica in February 2012 to discover the birthplace of reggae music and to record their fourth album "Kingston Town" which was produced and engineered by Sam Clayton and Stephen Stewart at Harry J Studio in Kingston. The band had the pleasure of working with A-list musicians like Winston "Bopee" Bowen (guitar), Daniel "Axeman" Thompson (bass) and Uziah "Sticky" Thompson (percussion). The track "Live Up" features vocals by both David Hinds and Selwyn Brown of the legendary reggae group Steel Pulse. Ishmel McAnuff is featured on "Rebel Music and Bro. Sam Clayton, leader of the group Mystic Revelation of Rastafari features on the track "Africans". Of note is also the performance of the group Dub Tonic Kru on the title track "Kingston Town".
