Brain Damages fourth album is a more or less direct referrence to the "Commercial album" by The Residents (1980). Much like this now mythic american band, Brain Damage develop a reflexion on emergency, frustration and intensity : everything must be said in the shortest possible lapse of time. In order to attain this objective, none of the 24 tracks recorded this project is over 2 minutes. An uncommon orientation for a band still labelled electro-dub. This new project visits many new musical horizons, gradually sliding from psychedelic floydian folk to some kind of minimal electro-techno via trip-hop and the digital dub that has contributed to the reputation built with their two first albums. Once again, Brain Damage have colaborated with many guest vocalists for this project. Spoken word is still predominent, represented here in seven languages: French, English, Bosnian, Catalan, Polish, Arabic and German.
