The Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra (BGKO), a consolidated international group of musicians based in Barcelona presents their fourth album, Avo Kanto. Avo Kanto means "the songs of the grandparents" in Esperanto, the only language able of expressing and giving voice to the diversity of this group made up of members from such diverse territories. Each of the songs on the album is inspired by the concerts, places, people, musicians and moments that continue to fall in love with the band every day: traditional themes played over time, generation after generation, which hold within them the power to evoke the deepest feelings of the human being.
