Baccini, Francesco & Alter Echo String Quartet
Archi E Frecce
Francesco Baccini is back with a new album, 'Archi e Frecce', featuring the all-female Genoese string quartet Alter Echo String Quartet. 'Archi e Frecce' is a full-bodied and intense album. Full-bodied, because it is composed of no less than 16 tracks, including two previously unreleased songs, two tracks that open and close the disc like a veritable symphonic work, to which are added eleven tracks taken from the Genoese singer-songwriter's repertoire rearranged for strings and piano, to which is also added a precious homage to his lifelong friend-myth, Fabrizio De Andre. The presence of the Alter Echo String Quartet, Marta Taddei on first violin, Noemi Kamaras on violin, Roberta Ardito on viola, and Rachele Rebaudengo on cello, and of guitarist Michele Cusato, who took care of the album's arrangements, represent the true originality of this work, elegant but essential, acoustic while being absolutely contemporary.
