Anteros
Montenegro (orange In Red)
At the risk of sounding typical, "Montenegro" begins with a new awakening. Not everyone was so lucky during the chaotic pandemic period just experienced. For nteros, the bite made blood. The release of "y en paz la oscura" (Aloud, 2020), chosen among the best albums of the year by Mondosonoro or Rockzone, was clouded by the low possibility of doing presentation concerts, and the fact is that hard-hitting rock was one of the genres most affected by that passing fad (the only way of salvation) of doing concerts for seated audiences. For 22 short minutes, nteros sign a work that could well be an epilogue to their previous album. That is what "Cielo Abierto" is about, the paths already taken, the feeling of repetition and above all, the remains left by each attempt, each step, each album. nteros have managed to put all these remains together, put the pieces together, grease them and meet again in the rehearsal room. "Montenegro" highlights all their qualities and in some way elevates the virtues of the band to their maximum power.
