Los Angeles songwriter/guitarist Alex E.T.'s debut album The Ashes is now available for the first time on vinyl. Distinguished by haunting melodies, velvet vocals, and intricate guitar lines, The Ashes reveals a gritty, bewitching new sound that earned a 4-star review in Shindig! Magazine. Originally planned as demos, the material on The Ashes evolved into a fully realized album that POW Magazine called a "ten song mastercraft of sound and beauty." It was recorded by Alex E.T., mixed by Jason Simon (Dead Meadow) and mastered by Dave Trumfio (The Mekons, Built to Spill). Alex recently opened for Dead Meadow and Yawning Man at the Lodge Room. Limited to 300 copies.
