Al-aiedy, Fawzy
Ishtar Connection
Would it be a dream to bring together all the Arabic countries, while talking to the Western world? ?For the first time in his career, Fawzy AL-AIEDY, an Iraqi from Paris, pays tributes of Arabic songs of the Middle East ??(Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, ?Egypt) and Maghreb (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria), spicing them up with his ?own melodies.?Throughout Ishtar Connection, traditional songs, modes and rhythms matches electronic sounds and modern beats. This ?surprising ?but catchy alchemy was created by a master of the Middle East music and three young musicians with a ?contemporary ?background. The beatmaker GSTN created the overall atmosphere with unique sounds (performed on ?stage by Adrien DRUMS on acoustic and electronic percussions). Vincent BONIFACE, from the Aosta Valley in Italy, ?brings an acoustic resonance through his instruments (diatonic ?accordion, clarinet, bagpipes, flute). Amin AL-AIEDY, ?bassist/arranger, born between two cultures, has builds a subtle architecture between East and West using digital and ?acoustic sounds to give a modern lift on timeless songs. ?Special guest with Tunisian violinist and violist Zied Zouari.Ishtar Connection has the ambition to create a link between modern & Arabic music while creating a transgenerational ?bridge. Welcome to the Oriental Fusion.?
