Eddie Boyd left a lasting impression on European blues enthusiasts and especially Finns because he lived in Helsinki since 1970 until his death in 1994. To honor a particularly significant Chicago blues legend, the elder statesman of Finnish blues, Pepe Ahlqvist, has returned to the studio together with the legendary keyboardist Jukka Gustavson and an accompanying line-up consisting of top musicians. The new long player "Stovall Coahoma - A Tribute to Eddie Boyd" includes ten songs from Eddie Boyd's repertoire plus the newly written title song of the album
