Abkehr
Dem Willen Zur Macht Und Dem Vergessen
A gaze upon existence and farce existenciae would still be generous, as it overestimates itself, trembling in its own shadow, while the will to power, a reflex in the vacuum, a twitch of muscle against the void one calls meaning, progress, even history, rises without any of it ever carrying weight. The downfall unfolds not as drama, not as judgment nor catastrophe, but as the exhalation of a species that burned itself out, while the old spirits once feared and now merely sediments of arrogance remain behind, silent, whimpering, forgotten. Existence called life, to feign significance circles without beginning, without end, mocking itself until all that was and all that wished to be dissolves in unceasing transience, until it finally sinks, unnoticed and without mercy, into madness or into forgetting.
