Olli Schulz is a real good storyteller and in his lyrics he uses words that no one ever thought could be used in a song. His musical companion on "Das beige Album" is Max Schulz alias Der Hund Marie, who intuitionally understands Ollis visions and who "translates" his words into music with an almost breathtaking precision. In Schulzs songs tragedy kisses comedy.
