Three-piece hip hop slash trailer park pop-punk band THE SATURDAY KNIGHTS have gotten mountains of press and mega-pixels of blogging since their beloved 2007 EP. On their full-length debut, Mingle, they present a dash of psych on tracks like the genre-busting "Dog Park," and the Afro-funk of "Patches," their seductive collaboration with THE DAP-KINGS. SOUNDGARDEN's KIM THAYIL adds some spazzed out guitar on the blazing rock anthem "I Go," while JACK ENDINO pumps the drums on a new mix of the underground radio hit "45." Going dirty South old-school style, the group employs the legendary MUSCLE SHOALS HORNS on "Count It Off."
