There are numerous bands, that describe themselves as "unique" and "different". And as simple as it sounds, it seldomly fits a band better than MALADIE. Besides the fact that these Germans play a mixture between black, jazz, avantgarde and progressive metal - entitled plague metal (including piano, saxophone, oboe and string parts) - and that they sing their lyrics in many different languages, its the way they release their music that also makes a difference. Besides their regular full-length discography, they release a series of EPs, and ". Symptoms II." marks the second part of this. This second chapter consists of four songs with a playing time that would be worth calling it a full album by other artists. These sick tracks require the full attention of the listener. By the end of them, there might be even more questions than before. This disease is highly infectious - beware because it might cause an epidemic!
