Its follow-up "The Devourer" means a quantum leap for them, and opens the sound even more for electronic soundscapes without losing the (extreme) metal edge. The Dark Companion hypnotizes you with a stoical recurring riff, Stargazer moves you with the use of hyperspace, and the ultra-melodic Between Innocence And Omnivores catches you right away. The phenomenal artwork by Pr Olofsson (EXODUS, IMMORTAL, SPAWN OF POSSESSION) is the access to the fantastic world of DAMNATION DEFACED, and while the mix was done by long-time friend Hannes Huke, Jakob Hansen (VOLBEAT, ABORTED, EPICA.) pushed everything to the next level with his crushing master!
