FLIPPER
Fight was recorded in 2007 during Flipper's two performances at Dante's in Portland, OR and The Funhouse in Seattle, WA. Both were recorded and mixed by Seattle's legendary Jack Endino. The 9-song set not only includes classic Flipper songs, but also songs from the band's last studio album, Love, released in 2009. Fight, along with Love, are bookends that encapsulate the band's time spent recording in the studio and playing live shows with former Nirvana bassist, Krist Novoselic. Fight is the live companion to Love and serves as the perfect balance to the Flipper studio album experience!

Love is the fourth studio album by San Francisco-based punk rock band, Flipper. The album was released over 16 years after their last studio album, American Grafishy, which was released in 1993. Love is the only Flipper studio album to date to feature former member Krist Novoselic - also former bassist of Nirvana - and recording sessions took place at Murky Slough Studios, Novoselic's property in Washington.[3]

... Live 19080-1985. 2CD collection that was originally released in 1986 as a 2LP of live material culled from 1980-85. The sound quality & playing are both a grimy, distorted mess, which suits the band just fine. Always alternating between endearing & abrasive FLIPPER left no room for the middleground of "like." The album title is a shot at John Lydon & his alleged plagiarism of Flipper's artwork for his own PIL & it proves that the band was never opposed to alienating its audience, no matter how sanctified. Harsh, art-rock classics from one of San Francisco's most important post-hippy era bands.
